Shalom dear friends. From Burdansk to Zaparosia to Kiev to Munich to Chicago to Springfield. I am about half way home with about another 22 hours to go. Shalom dear friends, I am once again on the road. I will be going to Zaparosia, Ukraine where we are feeding Jewish residents and refugees from the fighting in the east. We are also helping a dear friend who was displaced when the Russians annexed the Crimea. He is planting a congregation and we will be holding a seminar and inviting the Jewish community to attend. It is always good to know that when I begin a trip like this that there are people praying for me. A special request: I had oral surgery last week which became infected, and I am taking antibiotics to fight it. I ask you to pray for strength for the journey but more than this for the wisdom and resources to help these Jewish people in the best way possible. Shalom dear friends of the Jewish people and the Friedman family. I will be leaving for Ukraine October 16th. We will be going a little further East than I usually go to a place called Zaparosia. It is not in the "conflict zone", but it is not far and there are many Jewish people in great need. We are supporting a soup kitchen in this area. For many of these Jewish people this may be the only meal they receive in a day. We need to expand this soup kitchen to serve many others. I will be looking to see what other projects we can develop to further help the Jewish refugees in this area. Your prayers and financial support are, as always, greatly appreciated.
On a more personal note. As of January our families situation will be changing. I will be able to spend more time overseas working in various countries with Jewish communities in need. As of now I have a trip to Ethiopia planned for the beginning of 2018. I Also have two trips to Israel planned for the Spring and one in the Fall and another trip to Ukraine as well. I humbly ask for you to pray for physical strength to be able to make these trips. Also, please pray for the wisdom to develop projects that will have a lasting impact on the Jewish communities I visit. One more prayer request. I am looking for people with a vision to bless the Jewish people to come alongside of me. In the natural it seems impossible as I have little to offer but 30 years of experience. But, with G-d "all things are possible".
Once again I want to thank you. Without you, none of these things would be possible. Together we have accomplished so much for the Jewish people over the years. Together, and with G-d's help we will accomplish much, much more. As I like to say, "You aint seen nothing yet"! Thank you! ... See more

Shalom Friends of the Jewish people.
I wanted to invite you to join Children of Jacob on a life changing trip to Israel. We have two trips in the works for 2018. The first will be March 5-14 2018. The second will be in the Fall, most likely around October 2018. Both trips are 10 days all inclusive, air, food, hotel, all sites, etc. In addition we will have class every night after dinner to learn about the history of Israel and the Jewish people. We will study the Scriptures to better understand G-d's plan for Israel and the redemption of the earth. We will dedicate a portion of the trip to serving the people of Israel in some form. Shalom all. Again, it has been a while since I have posted. Our trip to Israel was a great success. We helped a home for autistic children, helped to renovate an apartment for a Jewish man with cerebral palsy, and provided food parcels for a number of elderly folks. I have a trip planned for Ukraine in the Fall, Ethiopia in the new year and two trips to Israel in the Spring. Dear Friends, I am leaving for Israel tomorrow morning at 6AM. I am taking a great group of 23 people to the Holy Land. I will be taking them to the borders so they can see for themselves the security concerns the Jewish people live with every day. We will be unloading a container of goods to send to children's homes across Israel. I will be meeting with leaders from several ministries to see which projects we can partner with them. I am asking you to pray for safety and strength for the journey. Most importantly please pray that these 23 individuals will return home with an even deeper love for the Jewish people and a greater understanding of their Biblical responsibility for the Jewish people and the land of Israel. Dear family & friends. It has been quite a while since I have been on face book. I wanted to avoid all the politics. More than that the Friedman family moved on November 1st (my birthday). We moved into a house half the size. Now I really understand the meaning of downsizing! But before the new year I wanted to pray the blessings of HaShem for all of you and your families. Back in the USA. Only one cancelled flight that put me back 4 hours but I should make it home today. The trip was amazing. Shalom dear Friends, I am leaving today for 10 days in Poland and Ukraine. I will be speaking to a number of different groups including Catholic, Protestant, Messianic and traditional Jewish people. As usual I depend upon you to pray. Please pray that I have the right words to speak to each of these diverse groups that will touch their hearts. Also pray for new ways to assist the impoverished Jewish people of Ukraine and the Jewish refugees of the ongoing conflict. I will try to give updates as internet access is available.
